All services include a base edge deburr and base material scrape if there is damage. This smooths out high-drag areas from nicks and gouges. We love doing custom tunes; Please feel free to tell us how/what you like to ride, and we'll tweak the tune to your preference.

$30 Hand Wax and Polish
Heat up bases, deburr base edge, apply temperature specific wax for current local conditions, scrape, brush, polish. If the ski or board is extra thirsty I do a hot scrape first, then do a second wax while the skis or board is at a higher temperature. This is one of the highest quality waxes in the Treasure Valley and will last much longer than a lower quality brush-on wax. We have been told by some other ski techs that this should be a $60 service, but we feel that everyone should be able to afford the experience of high quality wax.

$40 New Prep
Makes brand new setups ride how they are supposed to. Deep pore hand wax (multiple passes), scrape, brush, polish, check edges, detune tips and tails. Almost every brand new setup needs this. Skis rarely come out of a factory perfect. Factory wax is for storing, not for skiing. Many skis are returned or sold by people who skipped this step.

$50 Side Edge and Wax
Sharpen side edges, deburr base edges, customize detune (if wanted), hand finish wax, brush, and polish. $1 per minute additional for P-tex fills.

$120 The Whole Shebang
Fill all base gouges, weld core shots, 4 levels of hand planing and polishing on bases (old school style, like how they did before base grinders), sharpen side edges, reset base edges, deburr and finish edges, customize detune to preference, hand wax, brush, and polish. This service takes anywhere from 2-4 hours to create a quality product by hand.

**Due to time constraints, please allow at least one day to pick up a "Whole-Shebang."

Ski/Board Surgery
$1 per minute, $25 minimum. This includes epoxy jobs, edge pull-outs, cutting skins, delamination repair, base welds, P-tex only jobs, etc.

**Wait times on ski/board surgery vary greatly depending on the job. Sometimes its an hour, sometimes its a few days depending on what needs done.

Timeframes for epoxy:
Any epoxy job requires a minimum of 2 additional hours in the shop to harden (no charge), and 24 hours next to your heater at home to finish curing. If it is a major repair, We may need to keep the skis or boards for a few days and do multiple epoxy passes.

Instruction and Events

Tune-Your-Own Clinics & Community Benches
$20 for the evening. The benches stay up all season for FREE. You do not have to take a clinic to use the bench, but Après cannot be held liable for misuse or damages. All proceeds and donations go back into providing free ski/board self-tuning for the community.

One-on-One Instruction
$30 per hour for one-on-one instruction with your equipment and supplies.
$40 per hour for one-on-one instruction with our equipment and supplies.

Parties and Clinics
$25 per hour, per person ($100 minimum) up to 4 people at a time (2 working, 2 learning). Flat rates may be negotiated if there are more than 5 attendees. Call (208) 802-5269 for reservations.
